Miss's portrait is meant to invoke her wonderful book, Escape From Special.
Kevin's portrait is based on his disturbing tale, Fishtown, which is available to read online now, and will be collected as a book in November.

I really love these shots. You capture shadows exceptionally well. I'm also so happy that I happened upon your blog because it's introducing me to a lot of cool books to add to my list. :)
